Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of PIMO (the website at pimo.nu and the learning app at app.pimo.nu). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use PIMO.
The service
PIMO is an English-to-Dutch language learning product. Features may change as we improve the app. The service may be unavailable at times for maintenance or unexpected outages.
Accounts and access
You must provide a valid email address and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Access may depend on our current access rules (for example limited signup, approval, or a paid plan). Registering does not always grant immediate access. We may suspend or revoke access for abuse, security risk, or breach of these Terms.
Plans and pricing
We may display plan options, prices, and discounts. Displayed prices and availability can change. A plan marked unavailable cannot be purchased until we enable it.
When paid checkout is offered, purchases are processed by a payment provider. Billing details such as renewal, cancellation, and refunds will be shown at checkout and in the app. Until checkout is live, no payment is required to use an approved account under the then-current access rules.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
- Scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute our learning content or other proprietary materials beyond normal personal study
- Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or bypass access controls
- Impersonate others, or create accounts to evade suspension or access rules
- Submit abusive, fraudulent, or malicious content through the service
Content and intellectual property
PIMO, including the app, learning materials, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own learning. You do not get ownership of the content.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By creating an account you also acknowledge that policy.
Disclaimer
The service is provided as is and as available. Learning outcomes are not guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law (including consumer rights where they apply).
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes get a new version number on this page. Continued use after a material change may require accepting the new version when we ask you to. Small clarifications do not require a new version.
